brown v white rice
nutritionally speaking i know brown rice is better than white rice in terms of vitamin, but strictly calorie wise would a chicken bowl with brown rice have more or less than one with white rice.....in other terms does white or bbrown rice have fewer calories

Foods you eat strangely
ha this is so funny cause i seriously think i have ocd when it comes to eating certain food too.....for example apples, when i eat an apple i always eat all of the skin first before getting to the ":good stuff" lol.....then when it comes to dinner entrees i usually always accompany my protein with rice and veggies and always finish the veggies first (and if broccoli is included in the veggies i save those til the end lol) ummmmmm what else....when i ea pears i always have to cut them into slivers....never eating it out of hand......when i get frozen yogurt i tend to eat the yogurt first and then eat the fruit i put on top at the end........as you can see i havbe a lot of little quirks and im sure fgiven more time, i could think of many more

Help with low calorie meals...
Hey everyone, well ive started a diet and am trying to keep my meals around 300-400 calories. .My question is Im sooooooooo over eating chicken and veggie salads for lunch and fish and veggies for dinner. What else can i make that is around 300-400 cals yet is really filling. (I make my salads large and portions of veggies large because my brain is so used to seeing a full plate) so anything with a lot of weight or substance is even better lol
How long will this last?!?!
Yesterday (thursday) i thawed 2 chicken breast and made a couple kebabs thinking i would make them tonight. Now I have plans this weekend and was wondering if they will be ok in my fridge until monday which is 4 days after i thawed the chicken. I dont want to freeze them because of the veggies, so do you guys think id be able to eat these on monday without any side effects lol/ Thanks alot

Quick question about barbequed veggies
I barbequed onions, squash, portobellos, eggplant, bell peppers and asparagus (ussing no oil if it makes a difference) and have quite a bit left over. My question is; I put them all in a gallon ziploc bag in the fridge and notice a fairily large amount of liquid cumulating on the botttom. In order for them to keep the longest time possible should i get rid of all or some of the liquid to prevent them from turning to mush? Thanks alot. Ive already gotten rid of some of the juices and am wondering if i did the right thing, i look to keep them for 5 or 6 days.
Refrigerate or not?
I bought some of those spray salaad dressings (an italian one and a balsalmic one) i think they are Wishbone brand. If i dont refrigerate them after opoening what will happen and are they ook to use?

My question is: is this considered a large order for one person because they alwaysy ask me how many sets of chopsticks i need and when i say one sometimes they act surprised

yogurt question [Yogurtland discussion moved from GCT]
Im trying to watch my diet tbut do splurge on frozen yogurt (most often at yogurtland) they only post nutritional info for their original tart flavor, which is 20 cals/ounce. My question is, along witht many other flavors they also have no sugar added strawberry/banana, do you guys this this has less calories than the tart?
Random Sushi Question
I frequent my usual sushi spot probably like 2 or three times a week and usually order just two rolls. The frst is crab, spicy tuna, avocado and white fish wrapped in cucumber and the other is a simple veggie roll (both are good size and veggie isnt wrapped in seaweed, its wrapped with rice) Is this alot of food for one person? it fills me up but just wondering what people miht think when i order it lol. thanks alot
Who has the best chai latte in SoCal?
I work at CB&TL and we use vanilla powder and not syrup, for a medium chai we use 1 scoop of powder so if you want it less sweet (which makes it much more drinkable) ask for 1/2-3/4 scoop. Tea Station also has decent chais.
