Mad Hatter in Durham?

Had breakfast/lunch there yesterday and was underwhelmed. Tried a cheese danish that was tasteless and gluteny, a scone that was more the consistency of a muffin and two sandwiches. Their Cuban sandwich, though not traditional, was pretty decent. The Thai wrap was a wad of unseasoned white rice, bland chicken and some ok veggies. As far as ambiance, it felt like hanging out in a Duke dining hall. Definitely suggest Rue Cler, Vin Rouge, and Guglehupf (never remember if I'm spelling that correctly)

Buenos Aires for new years PLEASE HELP!!!

We're in the same boat. BTW, Sucre is closed for NYE. If you do find anything, let me know.

The Four Seasons is having something that is a bit cheaper, but I'm not sure I want to go there.

Buenos Aires for New Year's

It's wrong, but it's correct. Any other suggestions?

Buenos Aires for New Year's

I've read all the great recommendations for eating in BA and have been to the city on a number of occasions. I was wondering if anyone knew of any prix fixe new year's events in BA. I have never been there for the holiday and heard that many restaurants shut down. The Faena Hotel is having something, but it is US 390 per person...a little steep for my budget...and very steep for BA.

Thanks!
