watching sixers/celtics game sat eve in Village?
Wogies is the philly sports bar in NYC. Good wings, super casual, and I believe they take reservations during the post season.

Ramps sitings
They were also plentiful at the GAP and Fort Greene greenmarkets this past weekend. $4 a bunch.
Park Slope brunch on Sunday
Where in Park Slope will you be? My favorite brunches in the neighborhood are at Al Di La and Applewood, though neither takes reservations for brunch.
Upper west side-ish Good Mexican + Margaritas?
If 50th street is not too far south, try Tolache, a popular rec on these boards.
Chinatown spot fit for a group
Congee Bowery does also have private rooms. I've held a party there and food, space and service were all excellent.

Suggestions For Sunday Brunch
I agree--the Capsuto Freres brunch menu LOOKS great, but I had a pretty terrible brunch there a few years back. We had a family gathering there--about 10 people and not one person enjoyed their food. Eggs were overcooked, fish dishes were undersalted etc. We split some souffles for dessert and those were pretty good, but IMHO not worth it considering the quaility of the rest of the food. Not to mention that we had really bad service. Not someplace I would return.

Vinegar Hill House Recommendations
I think the porkchop is a standout. I have actually seen people there waiting before opening, but you shouldn't have any problem if you are there at 6pm.
Where to eat near BAM?
Its fine, but its no Frannys, which is worth walking or driving the extra few blocks. I also would pick Walter Foods, Romans or Taro over Stonehome.
Memorable meal in Playa del Carmen recs?
If Luna Maya is still open (which I believe it still is) I reccomend this for your nicer meal. Price is similar to Yaxche (where I had an awful meal a few years ago before it moved) and the food was quite good. The restaurant is on the second floor and has a lovely balcony and a very romantic feel. Its on 5th and 38th, so any easy walk if you are staying in the tourist zone.
Yunnan Crossing Bridge Noodles - where in NYC?
I just read about this place--its called Lotus Blue http://lotusbluebar.com/lantung_nyc.htm
No menu listed yet but for the OP, the website does say they will have crossing the bridge noodles.

Inexpensive restaurant for group of 22
Otto has group dining options for $35-55 per person. When I attended a party there we were seated at one long table.
Good food, good atmosphere after seeing high-energy show
I agree that Aldea is not a particularly high energy place. You could walk over Momofuku Ssam bar or, if you care about reservations, how about ABC Kitchen?
Birthday dinner in Prospect Heights - The Vanderbilt or Flatbush Farm?... or Convivium Osteria?
truthfully I wouldn't classify anything at the Vanderbilt as "must try" but I've always enjoyed the brussles sprouts, the shishito peppers and the boudin noir with poached eggs. Get a bunch of plates and share. I also enjoy the cocktails here.

Birthday dinner in Prospect Heights - The Vanderbilt or Flatbush Farm?... or Convivium Osteria?
While I love the Bar(n) at Flatbush Farm (including the food) I have always found the food on the restaurant side to be overpriced and uninspired. I love the food at Convivium and would never describe it as old or stuffy--but it is more cozy and intimate than the Vanderbilt, which has a bit more of a party vibe. That being said, the food at the Vanderbilt can be hit or miss. I would choose between those two based on your preferred vibe and how important the food is v. atmosphere.

Radio City Lunch with Group--Recs?
If you are willing to do lunch up near the museum you could check to see if you could get the downstairs of the UWS Shake Shack (coulmbus and 77th). I know they rent it out for private parties but I do not know the price. I wouldn't chance walking in there with 20 people otherwise.

My first thought was Park Avenue Autumn, since by definition it will have a fall menu. I checked the website and it looks like there are at least two pumpkin dishes.

Solo dining near 14th Street N.W (between H and I streets)
thanks for all of the recs--I've been looking at menus and drooling. I would promise to report back, but it turns out that I now have a working dinner on the night I thought I would have the chance for the solo meal. I'll be back in DC for work in a few weeks thoguh, likely in the same area, and am really looking forward to trying some of these suggestions.
Pre-theater dinner... Cafe Boulud?
Actually, I don't think the OP was confused. They are staying at the Surrey hotel (where Cafe Boulud is located) and considering eating in their hotel rather than in the theater district for their pre-theater meal.

Solo dining near 14th Street N.W (between H and I streets)
Thanks for the recs. I'm a New Yorker, so I'm used to walking everywhere--a 20 min walk, as long as it is basically safe for a solo female sounds totally reasonable. I just don't know the Metro well, so I was trying to make things easier for myself by walking.
Solo dining near 14th Street N.W (between H and I streets)
NYC hound looking for one night of solo dining in DC. I'm staying on 14th Street N.W (between H and I streets) and would prefer to stay within walking distance but could take the metro if there is nothing of note in the area. I would strongly prefer to sit at bar and order apps and wine/cocktails. Other than that there are few restrictions-any cuisine will do, bonus points for something I can't get in NY. For reference if you know NYC restaurants, Babbo is my favorite place for solo bar dining here --there are always solos and couples eating at the bar and its a chance to try someplace special without dishing out for a multicourse sitdown meal. I would prefer to try to keep the price of just the food (so not including drinks tax or tip) to about $40, but I could go over that for something spectacular. Any ideas?
