Help with restaurants

I am assuming this is a board to help people to have a great time in New York and great food. I have tried researching every site looking for help to have good food and a good time as I would try to help people coming to San Diego to find the great place's for food and fun where the local people eat and place's to go when you just want a great restaurant but not so expensive. It seems like unless you have 3 or $400.00 to spend there is not a good local restaurant in Manhattan. So here we go I would like to go out and have good homemade Italian and good Burgers where the locals go when they just what to have a reasonable meal Here are some of my choices what do you think.

For Italian Patsy's on 1st
Keste Pizzera
Patsy's W 56th
Rubirosa Mulberry
Capizzi 9th
Joe G's W56th
Also would love to find a sports bar with good food around Time Square as we are saying at the Westin. I have found Dalton's on 9th and Smith's Bar on 8th.

I would love to have some locals suggestions on good food that you love to go out to when you might not want to pay 3 or 400.00. If your give me suggestions I will be glad to research and see if this is something I want. I love Italian food. good burgers and Pizza. Thank You for your help.

Coming to Manhatten for Jets game

Coming to Manhatten for Jets-Chargers game. Staying around 49th and Park looking for good breakfast hate to eat in hotels. I love New York and am looking for fun places. Good sports bar with good food around that area. Also looking fo good Italian which I know New York has plenty of but would like just an old fashioned great comphy Italian place with good homemade pasta's and maybe pizza. I have my grand daughter so hamburger is a must. Past places we have been to Joe's Pizza on Carmine(a must) Carmines, and Sardi'a and a few other places. New place's I have looked up
Dalton"s Bar (9th Ave)
Joe G's (W 56th)
Kitchenette (Chambers)
Stadium Grill (W44th)
Capizzi (W40th
Hurley's (W48th
We are really looking for just good neighborhood places that locals go out for just a good dinner. THX

San Diego Upscale for a group of 12

Jack and Gulio's in Old Town is a great place to go with a group. People come from all over for their scampi and there veal valdostano is wonderful. A 10 min cab ride.

Where to stay in San Diego to be near good food?

The Embassy Suites in Gaslamp is a great place to stay. You are right by the trolley which will take you to Old Town, Little Italy with great restaurants. There are lots of good restaurants in the gaslamp.
