MIAMI: Cuy / Guinea Pig / Cobaya
A favorite food in Peru I hear. Where can it be eaten in Miami?
MIAMI DINING CLUB
Thanks both of you. I agree with Mialebven that exoticism and cost are an important part of the mix.
Meanwhile, I'd like to eat cuy (cobaya).

Lobsters on sale in South Florida??
And I would love to know where I can get good lobster prices in Miami-Dade. Thanks!
Taj Mahal in Miami
We just ate at the Taj Mahal in Miami and guess what, it's terrific! http://tajmahalfl.com/index.php
Now I know all about how people said this place was terrible after Renaisa moved out. But things have changed and they have gotten their act together. The service was brisk and attentive and the food first rate.
I had goat curry, spicy, which was rich with flavor. We also had Lamb Tikka Masala which has a delicious kind of spicy, rich cream sauce. Both served with fragrant rice biryani. We shared an order of poori (the puffy bread) and our waiter comped us a combination of condiments which were excellent.
All with this Kingfisher beer watching melodramatic Indian MTVesque dancers on their flatscreen. A good time was had by all.
Really, - the food was well prepared and nicely seasoned . I was reminded of my best experiences on 7th St. in NY. I'm going back!
