A quick review of Biff's
I went a month ago and was disappointed in the service. The waiter was completely indifferent, he took my drink order and then left abruptly before taking my companion's. When he brought my drink he took off quickly before we could order the other one. We couldn't flag anyone down to refill our water. I had to get up 3 times myself to get the pitcher. The food was ok but I was expecting a higher level of service from an O&B restaurant
ISO German or Austrian Breakfast Buns (Broetchen)
The Brandt outlet store in Mississauga sells buns that look like that, but I haven't figured out who their supplier is.
Where do they sell Heinz Organic ketchup? No HFCS
What is liquid sugar? I think it's a marketing ploy for HFCS or else they would call it just sugar. The Heinz sold in Buffalo is now made with sugar instead of HFCS which ironically is made in Leamington but we can't get the same product here. I bought the smaller bottle of organic Heinz for $2 in Buffalo where here it was $4 even though they're produced in the same Canadian factory!
Found: GREEK YOGHURT in TORONTO!!!!
Whole Foods now carries the Liberte Greek yogurt. Still not as good as Fage or Mediterranee but the flavour isn't bad.
Where to buy good quality stainless steel flatware in GTA or online

Found: GREEK YOGHURT in TORONTO!!!!
I saw a new Liberte yogurt today in Baltic style but it's not on their website either. I wonder how it compares to Balkan.

Wegman's has Mexican Coke
Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce
I saw it today at the Sobeys on Queensway & Parklawn
PigRoast - Caterer?
I always get it from Royal Meats in Mississauga and they'll cut it up for you. If you go there on a Saturday, they have freshly roasted pig which you can buy by the kilo to try out. Serbians roast smaller pigs as they're more tasty. The Chinese places usually use pigs that are a bit older.

Toronto's Tastiest Calamari?
I guess it depends on the cook but the last time I had the calamari at Mezes my jaw was sore because it was so rubbery
ISO Awesome Veal Schnitzel

I think Magoos on Dundas and Royal York is better
Pretty cupcakes, and tasty too?

ISO good, authentic Hungarian desserts in GTA
I've had Sweet Gallery's dobos cake MANY times, it's not bad...
Looking for tomatoes for cooking that aren't canned.
Pomi tomatoes are tetra packed. You can find them at Highland Farms.

Whole Foods In Sherway Gardens Area
There's a plaza being built on the West Mall just north of Queensway. It doesn't say anything about Whole Foods but it would make sense.
French butter?
Saveur featured butters in a recent issue and I was suprised at how many Canadian butters made their list.

Does anybody know of any good Yugoslavian restaurants in Toronto?
Unfortunately you won't find anything as good here. Most Serbs go to Zam and McAdam although I don't really like the atmosphere at either place. For a casual place, Royal Meat BBQ is a Serbian restaurant that opened recently which serves chevaps and raznici.
