Hello Everyone!
I am trying to narrow down 2 options. We have tickets to show 'O' at 10 pm, staying at the Cosmopolitan, and I can't decide between FIX and Jaleo for a large group of people, 15 to be exact. We are looking for a fun, not stuffy place, with good food, restaurant prior the show.

Thank you for your response. I contacted STK and they can provide with private room maximum of 16th people, or give us 2 tables with 8 ppl per table. I want us all to sit together and have a good time. I called TAO as well and they told they take reservations up to 1 month in advance so i will call in February. In the meantime, I am still looking for a restaurant for thursday night. Any other recommendations? Again, it will be a large group. How is MIX? Thank you so much for your help

No Chinese or Mexican. Open to all other cuisines. We want to spend $100 p.P How is STK at the Cosmopolitan or TAO? Since we will go dancing after dinner I figured TAO will be a good option but reading reviews on this board I am not sure now if it is a good option?!

Hello Everyone. I hope someone can help me. We will be traveling to LV from NYC end of March and I am looking for trendy, upscale fun places to have dinner for 12-14 ppl. It is a birthday trip and we are all in end 30's beginning 40's. Not too stuffy places pls. We are staying in the Cosmopolitan. Food has t be good but the place has to be fun.
Also looking for 1 night where we can dine and then go dancing, prefer same area or place?!

i talked to both of them. janes private room is booked on that day and they would sit us in the main dining room and yes, they do serve lunch.
stanton social serves only brunch on saturday. i was wondering if it is good or not since i have not eaten there..

We just moved to new neighborhood, W 59th street and 10th Avenue and are looking for suggestions for best delivery food in the area. We like all cuisines especially Thai and indian but don't like chinese.
Also what kind of restaurants should we try to have dinner in the neighborhood. I heard Masa and Per Se are great so is Aisate, and I am looking to get reservations. Any others?

Where to celebrate 40th birthday?
I called the Rainbow Room but they do private parties and yes, you will sit in a private room and can hire a band, etc. but i don't want a private room.. I would like to have it in a trendy place where other people are having a great time and great ambience, music.. we just want to have a great time.. Not to elegant, etc. Rainbow Room offers a dining and dancing but their calendar for April will be open in APril and I want to get a ball ralling already.

My husband is turning 40 next april and I am in search of a great venue/restaurant to make it as memorable as possible. My budget is $ 10K. It will be approx 30 guest. ANy suggestions where we should go? I am planning ahead since the holidays are coming and I want to have an idea and I don't want to be stressed and since I know we have to book here everything in advance i firgured the earlier the better.
I am thinking great food and maybe live music or dj where guests can dance inbetween meals or after dinner. Guest range will be 35-43 years old.

Thank you for your response. We were thinking lunch, sandwiches, but really open to anything. We live in Battery Park City but are not tight to a location. I don't know about the prices here in NYC.. $ 25-30 per person would be enough to have decent B-day party? Also if I need to book an enternainment seperately, where do i find info who to book, clowns, magicians?
I think I found a bakery in NYC through this website.. will go with either Billy's or Sweet Sunshine.

we just moved to NYC and our daughter is turning ONE! We would like to throw a party. Our place is too small. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of venues. It will be aprox 40 people, 20 adults and 20 kids, age range between 1 year and 8 years old. We prefer food and space and we don't want to do 1-2 hour party.. we prefer to have a longer party so everyone can enjoy!
