Washugyu Ribeye Help

Bought some of these steaks to treat ourselves, and we really don't want to mess them up being what we spent.

Going to grill them med-rare, but should we even marinate these? Just salt and pepper?

Please advise!

Where can I buy good cheese blintzes in the NYC/ NJ area for Shavuot?

Try the Golden Eagle Deli in Garfield, NJ. They have the BEST Eastern European/Polish food in the North Jersey area. Right of off Route 46.

Fresh Fish in Bergen County

I have been buying from Sonny's Seafood in Little Ferry NJ, and it is pretty great seafood. I was upset for a while that I couldn't find a good spot either, then I stumbled upon Sonny's. I've had the grey sole, shrimp, and scallops... all very fresh. Not even a hint of a fishy smell.

People I work with rave about Peter's Fish Market in Midland Park. It just won best seafood shop in Best of Bergen 2013, so it must be pretty decent!

Dinner near Beacon Theater (74th & Broadway)

We don't mind spending money for good food, but have a hard time spending on meh food... we would like to leave the show at 10 and be within 5 minutes of dinner, cab or walk.

Dinner near Beacon Theater (74th & Broadway)

Trying to find a place to go post show (10 pm-ish) on Friday night. Doesn't seem like too many places around there get good reviews. Any recommendations? Husband doesn't eat middle eastern or indian food.

Chicken Curry Help!

Here is my base ingredient list:

1/2 cup coconut cream
1 can coconut milk
1 tbsp red curry paste
2 tbsp green curry paste
1 tsp turmeric
1 stalk lemongrass sliced
1 cup chicken stock
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 lime
1/2 red onion- large chop
handful of cilantro leaves- chopped

To that I have tried to cook chicken thighs in the sauce to increase flavor... I have tried to add tumeric, cardamom, and garlic powder to boost flavor. Maybe I am adding too much, or not cooking the base long enough. I have concocted this recipe from various recipes on the internet and it's quite possible I need to strip some of it down. I think that maybe making my own curry base, as opposed to using powder/paste might be better too...

Chicken Curry Help!

Why is my chicken curry so dull? I have tried many variations, many different ingredients, and I just can't get any depth of flavor....

I like thai/malaysian style coconut curries. I use store bought coconut milk, fish sauce, curry powder, and curry paste. I I try to amp up the flavor with chicken broth concentrate, chili powder, cardamom pods, soy sauce... I have even tried throwing in 2 tablespoons of jar marinara I have in the fridge!! I have tried cooking chicken thighs with skin in the curry as well... I just can't get a rich, fulfilling flavor to my curry... any suggestions?
