what to do with a bunch of camomile
Hi,
I bought a bunch of camomile today.
It's mostly the leaves, with some buds on top. None are blooming....
I am not sure what to do with it.
The stem closer to the grounds seems super tough.
Hmm....
I forgot to ask the farmer dude who sold it to me what to do with it...
Thanks guys.
best chocolate muffins?
live in sherman oaks.
i had some chocolate muffins from a little bakery painted sky blue on old town pasadena on colorado.
i liked those, but i guess something closer would be good.
thanks.

maybe i won't put so much nut meg
purple yam.. yum!!
so, i'm procrastinating from studying.. what? i got really hungry, and had to eat a purple yam. it's simply delish. it's the autumn, season of yams and potatos!
i'm interested in making a sweet potato pie with purple yam.
at least it'll amuse my little cousin with the purple.
i'm just wondering what differences would you consider from a regular sweet potato pie recipe in this situation?
maybe a little sweeter? purple yams are not that sweet.
btw, if you want to try some of that sweet purple yam. asian markets are selling them right now.
san gabriel valley or any given 99 ranch market, maybe thai and philipino markets have them too.
salmon belly
so i got a pack of salmon belly today because it looked alluring to me...
i'm not really sure what to do with them, it looks fatty, thus pretty cute, so i want to eat it!
i was thinking about broiling them with some korean BBQ style glaze
honey, lemon juice, ginger mash?
or??
mortar and pestle [moved from LA]
hi,
i just wanted to share something i found in the store today.
i've been looking for granite mortar and pestle for awhile, since my exboyfriend suggested granite, and he's a geology professor, so i trust his judgment about rocks.
the ones i've been finding has been very pricey, around 50 dollars.
i saw these mortar and pestle today placed on a bottom shelf in 99 ranch market in van nuys while buying a portugese egg tart in a chinese supermarket, i like the egg tart at 99 ranch market.
anyways, an 8 inch set is only 13.99. i'm not sure if other 99 ranch markets have it, since they stock different things, but i bought mine in van nuys.
i bought it immediately and proceeded to go home and smoosh lots of peppers and yellow mustard seeds with it. it works great!
whee! so i'm making pesto tomorrow.. yum!
