Old Monk Rum - anywhere?
I'm looking for a bottle or a few of Old Monk Rum and the LCBO hasn't carried it since 2007. Does anyone know a place I can get it or order it? I keep running into US sites that won't ship to Canada.
Lunch near Queen and Dovercourt, no Drake
The beaver cafe was pretty good when I was there a few months ago. It's on Queen and Beaconsfield I believe. It's a vegetarian restaurant but the food is fresh and good. I had an avocado club sandwich.
Suggestions on where to dine this Saturday?
Vegetarian Haven is good, but not necessarily fine dining. No liquor license. Rosewater Supper Club is good and has some veggie stuff on the menu and a lot of seafood. It's not super adventurous, but really fresh and cooked well.
Wedding catering at various venues in TO
I'm working on planning a wedding in 2010 and I'd really like to do a downtown event but I'm getting freaked out by the costs and not knowing what the quality of food is like from caterers I'm speaking with.
Places I've checked out online:
Steam Whistle
Casa Loma
Great Hall
Liberty Grand
Palais Royale
Capitol Event Theatre
Sunnybrook
I'm really loving the Steam Whistle, but not sure if any of the caterers are a) good with food & service and b) capable of making it at all affordable. If not the Liberty looks to be one of the cheapest places but I have no idea if the food is worth it. Any comments on the food & service at these venues?
Any comments on the affordability and quality of these caterers?

Thanks for any help!
Liberty Village ?
On Queen near Niagara there's One of a Kind - looks a bit like a dive from the outside, but the food is solid and cheap. I think Oro is in by King West Fitness, but I've never eaten there. If you're into expensive food there's the Drake on Queen. Really awesome west indian food at Island Foods at King & Dufferin.
