I am not sure, if one can have Ice-cream and wine as dessert?

I have a date on friday... and I am looking for a good Italian place for dinner.
Want somewhere where it not too loud and have proper seating.. do not want to seat across my date.. I have much rather go a place where I can sit next to my date.

I am trying to find a place where I can get good fruit desert!!

Reason: My date does not seem to like generic deserts like ice-cream, pastries.. etc... anything which has artificial sugar added to it. She loves to eats fruits... and I am having a real hard time finding a place which serves good fruit based desert.

I am looking for something in Manhattan.

If you someone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
