Problems opening an All American Pressure Canner I had the same problem just last night. I have the same type of canner. I read the instructions again (for the umpteenth time) and apparently it has to do with the lubrication. Next time I'm going to use more petroleum jelly on the beveled area. My husband did the same thing yours did, but this morning he unscrewed those tabs that lock in the lid and he said it came off easily.	Sep 15, 2008 msandi in Cookware
