La Siesta - Mexican - Winthrop
Outsatnding. Just found this place, to date best Mexican in Boston and it's not even close. I had the Chili Verde burrito, not over sauced, just perfect. Everything tasted fresh, no canned anything on my plate. Salsa was fresh with lots of nice flavor. The owner stopped by my table as he did eyeryone. Very friendly, he said all his recipes were what he ate as a child. I believe it, this is seriously good food. The decor is perfect and the dining area is very clean. Great place for a family. A 30 min. walk from Orient Heights. A little hard to find, just use google maps and it'll get you there just fine. Address: 70 Woodside Ave., Winthrop, MA 02152. The only thing I could think of that that might be a little disappointing is the menu could have a few more selections, but that's about it. Prices were are bargin. I'm a bit of a Mexican food snob, trust me when I say La Siesta can put thier food up against anyone anywhere. Try it!

Tequila's Bar and Grill - Orient Heights
Save your time and money. Go anywhere else. Slow service, 25 min. to take my order. Better chips and salsa can be found in a bag and jar, makes Taco Bell look good. Salsa was watery with no flavor, chips greasy. I ordered the enchilada's (chicken) it came with beans, rice and a small salad on the side. Chicken was dry and with little flavor, rice tasted like something that came out of a microwave and beans out of a can. I will not be going back.
San Diego - Best Mexican near Doubletree San Diego Downtown
Looking for the best authentic Mexican within walking distance of the Doubletree Downtown, 1646 Front Street. Cheap/Low price a plus, don't want to break the bank. If not Mexican then open to other ideas. Did I mention low prices?

Allentown - Beef Baron
Years ago I spent a lot of time near the Allentown Airport on business. The was a bar there called the Beef Baron the had cheap beef and great freash made burgers. Anyone know if they are still there?
Best Mexican on the Strip
I was just surfing around and saw this post. I have eaten at Border Grill once. While it was good, it wasn't even close to the reputation it carries. Again the food wasn't bad, but I have had much better quite often.
Kew Gardens on the Cheap
Partime resident (no car) of Kew Gardens looking for good food on the cheap. Just off 81st Ave & Austine.
Mexican or American in Paris/France
I've never been to France, but I am curious about if there are any Mexican or American type restaurants in Paris or even France for that matter.
Manassas Dinner Party Group
It's been a number of years since I lived in Manassas, but there were two I would recommend. Carmello's - Italian and Jake's? (seafood). both in old town section. Jakes was on Main St. Carmello's on Center St., I assume both are still there. No idea if their quality is what it used to be. Carmello's most likely will still be safe, it's been there at least 25 years, and was still going strong the last time I ate there maybe 9 years ago.
Hopefully you find others who know the town better.
Pizza - Reykjavik, Iceland
When anyone talks about the 'best' anything it's subjective. Having said that I have traveled all over the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Central/South America and Europe. One of the best I have ever eaten is in Iceland. It was referred to me by the owner of the local Harley Davidson shop. It's a little hard to find, walkable from anywhere in the city, depending on weather. I have no clue how to pronounce it but here is name and address:

The menu is in Icelandic and English, and the staff like all of Iceland speaks English as well as anyone. It does get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. They have all the basic toppings plus a few local things. It may sound strange but they offer cream cheese as one of the toppings, which I recommend. All pizza baked in a real wood fired oven. Prices relative to Iceland are very reasonable.
Pecan Pie w/ Homemade Crust - Blind bake?
I use the basic recipe but add a table spoon of Maker's Mark.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Yes, with a qualifier, the Caribbean Jerk Wings are the best. Beer is good.
Fort Worth Area - Mexican & BBQ?
Not interested in chain food, I could care less about chic, trendy, etc, I only want good food, thats the only qualifier. Looking for Mexican & BBQ in Fort Worth area. I've tried Joe T's, it's good but want to try something different this time. Mexican should have more to offer than the standard enchiladas, tacos and burritos. BBQ just be good food, I know good BBQ when I eat it.
Thanks
