oh man not an easy one. frontrunners are either tasting menu at L'Atelier or white truffle tasting menu at Picasso. ALINEA!?! Recently dined at Minibar and Komi which also deserve to be in the discussion...
My current drink of choice:
Imperial or Anniversario on the rocks
I really wish I could:
speed up my metabolism and never stop eating. get smarter everyday. eat at El Bulli.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
assorted 'spanish tapas', my roasted turkey or pork leg, braised cheeks!
My favorite comfort food:
Mama's home cooking (obviously, right)... esp. her lechon with arroz con gandules and tostones, her lasagna or spaghetti, and soups. street foods of the world. shrooms/pepperoni/meatball slice at Steve's.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
(Top 5 Miami) - Michael's Genuine, Michy's, Red Light, Joe's, Por Fin ... (Everywhere else) - Alinea (Chi), L'Atelier (LV), Komi (DC), Minibar (DC), Fore Street (Portland, ME), Bar Yebra (Sevilla, ESP).
