I'm not sure if there is one in Edmonton, but I have had luck in other cities finding it in Dutch stores (the Dutch like it, dating back to the colonial days)

I haven't had the poutine at Barpa Bills, but La Belle Patate in Canmore is just about the only poutine I have had west of the Great Lakes that comes close to what I grew up with in Montreal. They serve all-dressed steamies and Mae West as well.

Edmonton: Best Indian Buffet
Agree with this review. It is a bit more expensive, but worth it. Quality seems a bit higher than typical of buffet, and the food is also just a bit different from the typical Indian buffet (maybe the Durban influence) which makes it interesting.
Where Can I Get Good Samosas In Edmonton?
I know that it is not in the location you want, but I am partial to the ones from the little food counter that's inside Millwoods Grocery on 34 Ave. (In the same parking lot as Maurya Palace).

Was at King's Noodles today. Broth was lacking. It was good but not it's usual greatness. Hope this was just a bad day. It's my favourite in Edmonton, but haven't found anything here yet to watch my favourite places in Toronto.
Bulk Barn in Edmonton
Wonderflosity, they have some of that, but not all. There is a tea store in Southgate (Tea Desire), that I think has a lot of that (loose tisane herbs). Don't know what the prices are like.

Made it to Bulk Barn today on their opening day. Very busy around 6 pm. Don't know if it was word of mouth, the Edmonton Journal article today, or all the Eastern transplants itching for some good bulk products. The store seemed a little bit smaller than those I am used to in Ontario and the Maritimes, but the selection all seemed to be there so maybe I am mistaken. Anyway, it is great that it is finally open.
Cleopatra999, they did have a selection of organic products in bulk, more than they used to.

It looks like it is really coming! I did a search and a bunch of job postings came up for the Bulk Barn (at the 2077 98 Street NW location that cleopatra999 posted). Do a search for Bulk Barn on jobbank.gc.ca
The job postings are for a Nov 16 start, so hopefully it opens soon

In Ontario, they tend to carry packaged Organics, but not as much in bulk. That could be changing though with increased demand. Thanks for the address. I can't find any other reference to it so maybe that is where they are going to open up.

I have to agree on this, not because of the dog, but because of the homemade chili sauce with lots of cilantro that they have as a condiment.
Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA
My favourite for this is Echo Sushi on Yonge St, two blocks north of Davisville. It is all you can eat, but it is not buffet, everything is made to order.

It's out of the way in the north part of the city, but my favourite is Pho Dau Bo, 2437 Finch Av W.
