Just got back from Honolulu, and now looking for those little rascals. I know that probably, nothing can equal Leonard's, but thought I'd ask . . . Thanks |

Yeah, Brent's is the holy grail (is it were) for us- can't get that kind of food up here in the Bay Area. Never could figure out why . . . |

My mother-in-law lives in Chatsworth, but we'll drive anywhere that chowhounds recommend. |

Thanks for the quick response. Do you remember any of the threads? Thanks again. |

We'll be in the Valley this coming weekend and the part of the following week. Would appreciate any touts on Asian, Middle Eastern, or Italian restaurants. In advance, thanks for the help! |

Sonoma - Girl and the Fig - anybody been? Went there last month for lunch. Just okay, mostly tourists there. Service was mediocre, and as have other folks noted, portions on the small side. That's okay, but unacceptable when the quality so forgettable. We had cheese, pate and something else- can't even remember. Would never go back, particularly since there are so many alternatives. Went over to the panaderia (can't remember the name- went because of the recs on this board) on Highway 12 for dessert. That place rocks! |

Meeting people in San Mateo this week for dinner. Looking for ethnic, reasonable sustenance. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Draeger's opening date for Blackhawk Plaza Went out there last Friday. Out of a lot of the items on sale, no samples or demos. Don't understand the metrics of this place- Andronicos was as complete with less pretension. Certainly a ton of competition, what with good farmers' markets in the surrounding towns, Lunardi's, and, now, 99 Ranch and Asiana grocery stores within a few miles. What am I missing and how are they planning on staying in business? |
