Charles, The Jaipur of Richmond Hill has no apparent connection with Jaipur Grille of midtown. They have different names.

Second elrik. They have good curries - their food has a home cooked feel to it. I think they are a family establishment. Not as greasy as other indian places , very tasty and flavorful.
Bhel Puri
Looking for a decent version of this Indian snack. I know Bombay Bhel has it, but I am not a fan of their food, so I have not tried it - is it good? I also picked up a packaged version at Loblaw - and its okay .
Does anyone know of any other place that makes it on premises., preferably subway accessible.
$5 meal?
The portions are smaller, but I prefer Tasty's . the chicken is moist and flavorful. For 3.99 +tax you get chicken and rice. 50 cents extra for coleslaw.

Quick lunch at King and Spadina?
Though I no longer work in the area, I went to Pamier last week and had the veggie wrap. It is almost 10 times busier than a few months back- and one change I noticed that they were not making the bread fresh, as they did before. But still, the veggie wrap was good and I will go again.
Bihari Kabab and Biryani House
Thanks a bunch for this lovely review!
Have you had the bihari kabab at Makkah? How does this compare?

Also, I remember, there is Dumpling King and Sushi Bong at Northtown way, which is about a 10 mins walk North. from Yonge and Sheppard. There is a newly opened Iranian restaurant in the same area-that I haven't tried.

The Best Samosa in Toronto
I have bought small samosas - they are available at most Indian grocery stores. They don't have potato or peas inside but some kind of spicy mixture along with lentils. They come in packs of 20 odd and are a good snack with tea. I dont know of any place that cooks them on premises.

GOL takeout :Iranian food north of Yonge and Sheppard
Today I noticed this place:promising home made Iranian food. Got a lamb shank with rice for about 10 dollars. The lamb was perfectly cooked..Alas, it had almost no seasoning at all!
Is this how it is supposed to be?
Anyway here is the website:
