Have you ever tried this place called Johnny Pastrami's in LA? The meat was piled high and it was delicious. Although, I haven't tried Canter's or Jerry's to compare to it.

Soup and other remedies [Fresno]
If you ever get one of those kind of sicknesses where you need something bland because anything else will turn your stomach, try 'Jook' (chinese rice porridge). I think Imperial Gardens has it, but I'm not sure.

Pho 75 is actually pretty good for pho and thai tea, but I had a bad experience there so I quit going to it. The one I would highly recommend is Saigon Garden (on Cedar south of McKinley Ave. in a strip mall). I believe they have the best broth compared to May's, Pho 1, 75, 76 and 99. Try the #30 with egg noodles - my favorite. It's the one with beef and all the other interesting stuff included. As a note, May's has the best beef stew noodle soup in town.
