I was alone in Vegas last year and dined at lots of bars. The bartenders are very good at what they do and will happily chat or just leave you alone if you put off that vibe. They are good at reading people. Sage was my favorite.

I love, love, love the brulee and still talk about it six months after eating there. The sweetbreads didn't do it for me though. They were too much like sweet and sour chicken from a takeout joint.

I "discovered" Bouchon last time I was in Vegas and traveled the length of the strip three mornings in a row to eat there! Food, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful.
