Looking for a good custard pie??? Anyone??? Also, any good bakeries in west hollywood for cream pies or anything? I know about urth and lady jane, but didn't thrill me...

I'm new to LA and wanted to know a good restaurant to take my mom to for a pre-christmas dinner. I want it to look festive and have great food. Price doesn't matter... Hope someone has some good suggestions.

Pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving
Hi,
I'm looking for recommendations for the BEST pumpkin pie to order for Thanksgiving in the LA area. Also, I'm from Hawaii and this may sound weird, but... there was this place that made 1/2 pumpkin, 1/2 custard pie. If anyone has heard of anything like this, that would be awesome..
Also, good custard pie recommendations too...
