Has anyone dined at Hakkasan? They recently opened in NYC ....we love the one in Miami beach
Where are the best burger joints in Miami (possibly South Beach)?
If you want to have an elegant fancy burger, splurge and go to db Moderne. I know it is out of control in price....where can you get a burger with short ribs in the burger? Although it is only a burger, it is delivered with exquisite service.
Four days in Paris with our college bound granddaughter our reservations for dinner
Any recs on our choices so far..
Our concierge will try for Frenchies....then we have Benoit , Absinthe and Ami Louis. Is this a good selection or are there other restaurants that we should substitute? We will be going on our trip in July.

Prime Italian - Standout dishes
The pasta and Kobe meat ball is outrageous......definitely enough for two. Of course the steaks are great, same prime112. Veal and chicken parm... All portions are huge, you can definitely share the salads as well. Enjoy

Loved the food......that being said, we asked for a specific table and told we could have it when it was available. So we went to the bar for a drink. When the table was ready, we asked for the bar check.
They added edamame beans to our check, in addition we learned that they charge 2.00for ice.....
When we went for our promised table, the table had been removed.....only the both was there and no table. We finally were seated at another table.
Although I know some restaurants do charge for ice, I think it is very chintzy.

Is the Villa by Barton G. Worth the price or is it best to go for cocktails just to see the Villa. I called and they accept reservations for cocktails.
Also, any word about the new chef at Azul, is it still as good?

Friends of mine said they really enjoyed it.....They also said they had a beautiful water view. I cannot sseem to find anything other than a pizza place.
Need recs for Larchmont- Mamaroneck area
I am looking for some suggestions for up-scale French, Italian or continental restaurants in the Larchmont -Mamaroneck area.
We are meeting friends in that area and find it is convenient for all of us.
We will be coming from Orange county and they are traveling from the North Shore of Long Island.
We have dined at Provencal and the four of us loved it. We would like to have another good dining experience.

South Beach for 50th B'day - thinking about the following:
I would definitely celebrate at CASA TUA...............very romantic and wonderful food....Request the garden..In addition, they have valet parking.
If you don't mind a short drive, I would highly recommend AZUL. Everything about this restaurant, at the Mandarin hotel, was perfect.
The menu, the service and the ambience made for a very enjoyable evening............. Ask for a window table.

New Italian Steak House In Greenwich Ct.
We dined at Gabriele's last Saturday night. The restaurant is very pretty, lovely ambience.
The steak for two was done perfectly and it is definitely good quality aged beef.
We did not think the restaurant was too pricey for the type of restaurant of this stature.
The service was knowledgable, efficient and friendly.
The only problem with the restaurant is the very, very cowded and noisey bar. One had to fight their way to the bar for a drink. In addition, the dining is very noisey as well.
Tony does a fine job and he certainley knows how to run a restaurant. Perhaps they can dampen the noise a bit......................we literally had to shout at each other.
We decided that we will try the restaurant during the week instead of Saturday evening.
