OSV - Easter Brunch
I see many posts on this board around Easter time inquiring about Brunch locations so I thought I would post my review.
My family went to the OSV Easter brunch yesterday. We have been to there brunch about 5 times over the last few years. This was our first Easter brunch there and it was the best we went too. Comparing the Easter brunch to their normal brunch, besides the increase cost (Easter brunch for adults was $29.95 and kids under 12 are $9.95 - normal Sunday brunch is $19.95 and adult and kids under 12 are free) the items I noticed added where lamb at the carving stations and shrimp at the salad table.
Everything was absolutely amazing. The turkey at the caring station is the best I have ever had. They always have 3-4 different salads and all where very good. The breakfast food is always good. The kids love getting messy at the chocolate fountate.
All 6 of us left very happy. We had 1:15 reservations and we stayed until 4. They let us hang out and talk and drink coffee afterwards. The manager stopped by to ask how everything was.
I would recommend this brunch , on any Sunday or holidays to everyone.

Cedar Street Grille - Open in Sturbridge - anyone been?
I made it here on Saturday night. It was a late decission so I called around 7:30pm to see how busy they were. Was told they were booked until 8:45pm. We got there around 9pm. Still a pretty good size crowd in the dinning room and new full bar. The place looks beautiful. Complete renovations from the old place. Looks wonderful. Okay the food was awesome. Menu is split up as small plates, large plates and sides. My wife and I split 2 small plates, - fried Calamari and an avocado, apple, feta salad. Both were really good. I recently got into fried calamari. This was the best I have ever had. I have not had it many times, maybe 6 but the last time was at the top of the hub in Boston and this was better. It comes with a mustard sauce which is great and fried pickles. The salad was really good also. For large plates my wife got the cedar plank salmon which comes with butternut squash risotto and roasted asparagus. She gave it 8 out of 10. I got the Steak Frites. A 10oz sirloin that I cut with my fork, cooked perfect. A balsamic blue cheese salad and truffle fires which were a mixture of regular potatoes and sweet potatoes fries. This was a top 5 dish I have had a restaurant. For desert we got the chocolate Pate. It did not look great but tasted awesome. Service was great. Drinks were very good also. My wife loved the pomegranate sparkle martini, pomegranate juice, vodka and a champagne float. All in I would give this place a 9 out of 10. So glad it’s in Sturbridge.
Cedar Street Grille - Open in Sturbridge - anyone been?
The Cedar Street Grille recently open we Cedar street retsaurant was. It is new owner. Wondering if anyone has been?
Feng / Blackstone Valley Shoppes
This is the same company that has had 2 successful restuarants in CT. One called Ginza and the other is also called Feng. Feng is located in downtown hartford and I have been several times but just for happy hour. They have a great happy hour menu. Several co workers go for lucnh often. I ahev only heard great things about both places. The only complaint i hear is that the prices for the dinners are somewhat high.
Great Sunday Brunch Buffet In the Worcester/Sturbridge MA area?
The sunday brunch at the Oliver Wright tavern just outside of Old Sturbridge Village is very good. I usually go every few months. It is worth a try. Reservations are recommended.

Where to go for late night App's and great drinks
Heading to the B's game this weekend. Won't be able to eat before the game so I am looking for a nice fun casual place to have some great app's and great drinks afterwards. Prefer a place with good beer on tap. Doesn't need to be bear the Garden but a somewhat easy walk/t-ride. Oh an the wife is a vegetarian. Thanks!
Food Near Holland MA?
I would also suggest Still River Cafe. It's about 15 minutes on back roads in CT. It has been talked about a lot on this board. So do a search on it. I'll provide a link below. I also suggest Kaizen in Sturbridge for Sushi. It's great. Also I second Cedar Street Restaurant in Sturbridge. In Holland there is a fried food/Ice Cream place called Finish Line. Recently opened by the Hoyt family which are famous from participation in the Boston Marathon and also motivation speaking. Also in Sturbridge is the Oak Head Tavern. There is outside eating on a deck over looking Cedar Lake. Let us know what you ended up doing

Southbridge/Sturbridge MA?
I would suggest Cedar Street Restuarant in Sturbridge
http://www.cedarstreetrestaurant.com/
And Still River cafe in Eastford CT. It about 20 minutes but well worth it. You'll need your GPS for this one.
http://www.stillrivercafe.com/

Southwicks Zoo - Anything good in the area?
Heading to the Southwicks zoo this wwekend and was hoping to go for lunch in the area. Something good for families. Thanks
Vegan Recs
went to Grezzo last saturday night and had a great meal. It's gotten mixed reviews on this board but i think its due to people who are not Vegan going becuase it a new trendy "raw" restuarant. Then not liking it. If your not a vegetarian or vegan and not use to different tastes then you most likley will not like it. But if you are you'll love it. I had a great time. The food was great. The drink were wonderful. plus its an expierence. When they bring the food to you they describe everything in it. I think all resturants shoudl do that!
Vegan Options near T
Heading to a Bruins game and need some suggestions for great Vegan options. Since we will be taking the T into Boston I am looking for a location close to a T stop to make getting around easier. Thanks!
EASTER Sunday Brunch - Central\Eastern CT?
I know its not in CT but its right over the border in Sturbirdge MA. Old Strubridge Village has an Easter Brunch which is great. The spread and seating is nicely spread out so your cramped in a room. The food is great also. Here is a link to the menu.

Pre Bruins Game Lunch Location Needed
Heading to to the B's game at the garden this Saturday. Game starts at 1. I am looking for a good lunch place within walking distance of the garden. Pubish type good woudl be great. Thanks
Cedar Street or The Castle
Great review JohnnyRoaster, I am sorry I did not see your post until after you already went but I would havesuggested Cedar Street. I have never been to the castle but have been to Cedar Street many times and am a big fan. I have posted several times on here but the place is kinda unknown still. My wfie and I love the martini's, you have to try the Magic bus. I agree about the risotto, its great and they let you switch the sides if you want. I usually switch the potato for rissotto when I have the steak or pork chop. I am glad this place is finally getting some love. Thanks
