Restaurant suggestions in and around Pinehurst
I would walk down to the Pinecrest Inn. They have excellent seafood, steaks, and lamb. It's a lively place w/ many golfers staying there but many others who come for the food and cocktails.

personally 1618 W Seafood Grille is my favorite for seafood in Greensboro. you can google for reviews. Marisol much closer to HP. Much quieter as well.

If I was going to stop for Q in Goldsboro, I would pass on Wilburs and go to McCalls instead. Buffet style but very good and plenty of it.

Leon's Cafe in Ogden used to have a good breakfast but have not been in over a year.
BEST CHEESEBURGER IN GREENSBORO?
Tap Room Grill on Battleground is my favorite. Cook burgers to order. Good onion rings but fries only average at best.

the Dockside in WB has a shrimp burger. Never had one there but it will be a nice place to have one and enjoy a cold one. right on the ICW.

johnson's - true dat. get there around 11:30 or you will we waiting. place is very small. I like mine chilli, slaw, mustard. Can be a little on the sloppy side, especially with the amount of velveeta they put on it.

Spring Garden Bar and Pizzeria in the heart of UNCG might be a decent watering hole w/ a campus atmosphere. Can't vouch for the food but it will be packed.

if you are limited budget and like a good burger, try the Tap Room. It is a smallish, pub/rest, You wwon't feel out of place sitting at a table or the bar. Its all one room.
Also, Pastability, right down from Tap Room, has good pasta and a nice little bar. Martin is a great bartender and along w/ Cindy the owner, will make you feel most welcome. Give it a try.

If you stay in Greensboro, Green Valley Grill/ O'Henry Hotel and PrintWorks Bistro/ Proximity Hotel are very highly reccommended. Also, 1618 West Seafood Grill is top notch.
northern neck of virginia weekend
Sandpiper in White Stone is very good seafood and steaks rest. Can be crowded on w/e's. White Sone Wine and Cheese can be hit or miss.
