Some sort of meat stewed for hours in a bottle of red wine.

My favorite comfort food:

crispy, deep fried Japanese croquettes- aka "korokke" with tonkatsu sauce or a big bowl of parpadelle w/ boar or rabbit ragu topped with lots of freshly grated parmesan
