Restaurants Near Richmond Landmark Theatre
Oregon Hill would be your best bet. Mojo's has great cheesesteaks and a huge menu. 821 cafe is a scenester spot but good and cheap. Fancier options and a longer walk (several blocks) would include Mama Zu-amazing Italian food but be prepared to wait and Pescados on China St.
Korean Tacos in Richmond?
Boka & Komida tacos are AMAZING! I wish the Komida Kart at the Biotech Park would open back up. I

Last 25 days in Richmond, VA
Go to Cafe Ole on a Monday and get the potato burrito. It's the only day they offer it. The best meal in Richmond for like $5. And their flour chips are also do die for. Anyone who lives in or has lived in Richmond should have had a potato burrito at least once or they were not real Richmonders.
Muffuletta Olive Salad...options??
what kind of cheese in the dip? is it heated? it sounds great!
Muffuletta Olive Salad...options??
I was given a jar of this great muffuletta olive salad from New Orleans. I’m trying to think of different ways to use it besides the standard sandwich. Anyone use this stuff in other recipes?
Ipanema Cafe, Richmond, VA
I am a huge fan of Ipanema...and yes, the focaccia is homemade. They have the best vegan pies. Everything is made from scratch, with love. I have been eating there for the past nine years and have never had a bad meal.
what to do with philadelphia cream cheese?
God help me for posting this as I really don't like this woman....but, Giada has a really good recipe for penne in a spinch sauce with cream cheese that is sooooo good. I've also made it with fresh arugula and it's even better.
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/penne-with-spinach-sauce-recipe/index.html
I usually add some lemon zest. Go easy on the garlic though..since it's raw it will really overpower the dish if you use too much.
Best Sandwich in Richmond?
Oh, Ipanema has some really great sandwiches. My favorites are the hummus sandwich and the smoked gouda with caramelized onions and tomatoes, both on scrumptious billy bread..mmmmm
Best Sandwich in Richmond?
Mojo's on Cary St has really good philly cheese staeks and grinders.
Coppola's is great. The Industial and the fresh mozzarella are my faves.
The tomato-pesto-jack melt at KubaKuba is to die for.
Joes Inn has the best veggie sub. Lots of melted gooey cheese.
Superstars has a lot of great subs too. "Where's the beef" is my favorite. and the "on the sly" is real tasty.
I Don't Like Brown Rice - Do You Have a Great Recipe to Change My Mind?
Brown rice is great in chicken and rice soup. It makes the soup so much more filling and nutritious...gives it a nutty flavor. And it doesn't turn to mush like white rice does after the soup sits for a while.
Falafel - Richmond, VA
I haven't been in years but I used to love the falafel at Alladins on Broad and Laurel. Style weekly just gave Aziza’s on Main a good review. I don't know if they have falafels.

JennieO Turkey Products-Any Opinions?
I've seen a few commercials and check out the website. Looks interesting but I haven't found any reliable reviews? I try to eat lean so I'm interested in trying a few...but there are so many choices.
I’m looking for opinions…good or bad. Which did you try? What do you like/hate the best?

Banh Mi in Richmond, VA?
I went to Cafe Gutenburg last week and saw bahn mi on the menu. I don't know how great it is but their other food is quite tasty.
Potato Gratin-to peel or not to peel
I'm in charge of potatoes for Turkey Day this year. I wanna make a killer potato gratin that will make a big splash. Here's my question:
I'm a big fan of potato skins. Would it make a difference if I didn't peel the potatoes?
Also, milk or cream? Or both? I want it to be good but not too unhealthy.
jamaican curry chicken recipe
Someone's gotta have a decent recipe. I had some at a friends a few years back with coconut rice. It was amazing....
Vegetarian main course for Thanksgiving
I agree! Quorn Roast is sooooo good. To me, Tofurkey is like dark meat and Quorn Roast is like white meat. I roast it in a roasting bag to keep it juicy. Top with some vegan turkey gravy or mushroom gravy. Even my meat loving husband loves it. Makes a great sandwich too.
Richmond - Edo Squid or Mama Zu
I like the atmosphere at Mama Zu much better than Edo, but if you go too late there will be a wait. The food is pretty much the same at both places. Parking in oregon hill is easier than VCU area, in my opinion.
Richmond: Bin 22 vs. Enoteca Sogno for pre-wedding happy hour?
Enoteca would be good for a small crowd, less than 6 or 7. There's not a whole lotta room there. I love their wine selections...and their food. I haven't tried Bin 22.

Southside Richmond, VA
Thanks for the recommendations. We ordered pizza from Maldini's this past weekend and it was really good. Much like Mary Angela's. We're going to try Ciento Lindo this weekend.
Southside Richmond, VA
We just moved from Richmond's Northside to the Westover Hills area. There doesn't seem to be as many choices as in the Northside. Does anyone know of some good eats in the area? We like anything from pizza to fine dining.
