I completely agree with you. I've always found their food underwhelming, as well as their service!

Their food is decent, but I certainly wouldn't call it top-notch.

Whenever I've been, I feel that they are packing people in so tightly that it feels like you're eating at a high school cafeteria.

I know it's a little late to reply to this, but I have to admit, I've had appalling service at Sutton's Drug Store every time I've been. Local color - yes. Food quality and service - no way!

Does Tallulah's have a website? I've tried to find one and haven't been able.

I don't know how far you're willing to travel within the City. Here are a couple of restaurants that I really enjoy for various reasons:

Walking:
Restaurant Nora (http://www.noras.com/) - excellent, a long walk, but worth it!

Coeur de Lion at Henley Park Hotel (http://www.henleypark.com/) - delicious French

If you're willing to metro:
Zengo in Chinatown: Asian-Mexican fusion

Greek food in Northern Virginia

I don't know if you're settled on Greek specifically, or if you're looking for some Mediterranean food. There's an amazing Turkish restaurant right off of Columbia Pike in Arlington. They have two store fronts - one is sit down and one is take out.

I would definitely second the recommendation for Belga Cafe. Aside from a lovely atmosphere, and having quite a few delicious beverage offerings, they have an oven baked mussel dish which is amazing. The mussels are baked in a pot with a lovely butter garlic broth that steams them as they bake.

Fruity Lambics on tap in DC/MD

Have you tried Belga Cafe? I think the 9:30 Club might actually have one on tap there, as well. So, the next time you head to a concert, check that out, but remember to take cash with you! RFD's in Chinatown would be a great place to look.
