Update on Italian Restaurants in Westchester
Valentino's in Yonkers is my favorite. The stuffed artichokes and lasagna are my favorites.

Delhi, NY Dining
I had breakfast at the Delhi Diner not too long ago. It was good, and the price was right. I only wish that there were more restaurants in this area. My daughter will start school there in September, and the choices for dining are certainly limited in that area.

The Bronx
I had a fine lunch at Pasquale Rigoletto's. I really enjoyed the Pasta Fieno. It was spectacular. I look forward to my next lunch there in two weeks.

Wondering about German Food
I was reading the Manhattan board, and someone posted something about German food. Years ago, there was a spectacular restaurant in Riverdale called Erin's (maybe it was Ering's). They closed at least 15 years ago, but I wonder if the family opened another German restaurant somewhere under a different name. Any one know?

There are no decent seafood restaurants on CI. They're all overpriced, and the food is mediocre at best.
Brighton Beach
I have never been to Brighton Beach, but I do plan to visit this summer. I would like to know what type of fish is served at Tatiana's and other restaurants along the beach. Must one order a massive amount of food? Do the servers speak English? Which restaurants offer outdoor dining along the beach?

Rothamann's is my favorite. The food is fabulous, and the service is extremely attentive.

Interesting post. Please tell me more about the fish on the menu. I've never been to Brighton Beach, but I am planning a trip there this summer. It sounds like quite an interesting place.
City Island recommendations?
Stay away from the Black Whale. The restaurant is understaffed, and the service is poor. The food is also mediocre.
Wild Salmon
I ate there last month and the mussels (appetizer selection) were amazing. I must go back again soon just for the mussels. The fresh foccaccia bread was delicious with the white wine parsley sauce.

Best Supermarket Westchester
I like the stock at C-Town in Pelham, but I must agree with the other poster that the prices are way too high. The deli prices are outrageous. I used to shop there all of the time, but now I do most of my shopping at Shop n Stop, and I only go to C-Town for the meat.
Sunday Brunch on Long Island?
I went to Rothmann's in East Norwich for brunch yesterday, and it was excellent. They have a prime rib station, a hot food station (chicken, pasta, fish), and a sushi station. They also have the standard brunch food plus a fantastic assortment of smoked fish (salmon, whiting, etc.), cold lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, etc. For dessert, they had sundaes, cheesecake, a chocolate layer cake, and chocolate-covered strawberries. They also have unlimited screw drivers, champagne, mimosas, and bloody Marys. Overall, it was excellent.
