need a causal brunch option in midtown or UES. Trying to get out of there for about $50 with 2 drinks. Please help. Should be causel as i am a jeans and sneakers guy

I am looking for a reasonable restaurant that is romantic. She loves rieslings and i love chianti and Knob creak bourbon if that helps. I am looking to get out of there for less then $120 total. Maybe an upscale wine bar, but the food should be good.

Except for La Flor, is there anyplace to get good brunch in the sunnyside/woodside area? some drinks (resonably priced) would be good also. A place that has some good sweet (waffles, french toast) and savory (eggs, meat,....etc)
Queens boy trying to re-experience childhood foods
Bagels Plus in Woodside is awesome. I still like Pizza Boy and Donatoes in Woodside (thou Pizza boy has gone down in quality recently.) For sweets, V&V on 61th and Roosevelt is really good

Have some friends coming into the city in 2 weeks. Need a nice french place, that won't kill my wallet. We all like drinks and desserts also, so a nice suggestion for dessert and drinks for after that is not too expensive will also help
