Favorite Restaurant to bring out-of-town guests?

Thanks all, for your recommendations! I do feel I have a good handful of higher end restaurants. I like the idea of the various ethnic restaurants. Anyone have any other cheap/moderate places they like to bring guests? Places for brunch?

Favorite Restaurant to bring out-of-town guests?

We often have friends visiting us here in the Twin Cities who are coming from places like Boston, NYC, LA, and San Francisco. With all the good food you can get in those cities, where do you like to take out of town guests to show them the Twin Cities food scene? We often do places like Brasa, Broders, and Isles Bun, and those seem to be a hit, but would love more suggestions. We live just west of Mpls but are willing to drive as far east as St. Paul and don't mind driving south toward the airport either. I'm looking for any recommendations--fancy dining (entrees $25 and up) to the best cheap eats. Thanks in advance!!

Going to Mama's, need another nice restaurant in Maui for dinner

We're headed to Maui in February. We already have reservations for Mama's Fish House, but we're looking for one more nice/splurge dinner location. We're staying in Kaanapali but will have a car and we're willing to drive. Our criteria, in order of importance:

-good food! We're coming from Minneapolis, so seafood is a must. Local Hawaiian food would be even better.
-Nice ambiance/service: We're on our babymoon and won't have many chances to have a romantic night out for a long time coming. Also looking for good service, some place that's not too loud.
-Near ocean would be nice

We're thinking about Spagos, Merriman's, and Banyon Tree. Anyone have any thoughts or other suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Favorite high-end restaurant on the Big Island?

I will be on the BI in a week and am looking for high-end restaurants on the west side of the island. We don't mind an expensive bill, but I do want the food to be worth it. Some of my thoughts include:

-Pahui'a at Four Seasons
-Hale Samoa at Kona Village
-Brown's Beach House at Fairmont
-Manta at Mauna Kea
-others??

We can probably only have two meals in this price range...any suggestions as to which ones we should choose? Thanks for the help!

Restaurant in RI for post-graduation gathering

Hello, I'm looking for a restaurant--preferably seafood, but any type of restaurant that "sums up" Rhode Island"--that can hold 20-30 guests (and take reservations!) for a post-graduation luncheon on a Sunday. It will be a casual lunch, in the $10-20 price range. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Buying duck and lemongrass in PVD area

Hello,

I've been looking to buy a whole Long Island duck (preferably fresh, but frozen is ok too) and lemongrass in the Providence area. Does anyone know of any places to purchase either of these? Thanks for the help.
