He calls it poaching, we all from the mid-west call in parboiling. It cuts down the cooking time and ensures that the meat is done without being dry. It also 'boils' out some of the fat.

Food Network Star: "Pilot Greenlights" (7/15/2012) [*SPOILERS*]

I think Food Network has finally jumped the shark. I was hoping for someone young, to get new ideas from. I'm Martie's age. I also don't like that it sounds too much like Aarti Party. As it is there is too much competition for air time. I'm getting tired of trying to watch favorites while they sprinkle crap shows in between.
