Is It OK to Leave Butter on the Kitchen Counter?

We use about 3 lb. of Avalon's unsalted butter a week. 1 lb. stays on the counter and 2 lb.'s go in the freezer. During the heath of summer, only 1/2 lb. is kept on the counter, and always in a glass container with a lid. Salt was original added as a preservative, -longer shelf-life- hence the reason unsalted butter tends to be fresher. Keep in mind we get our dairy products delivered straight from the dairy! When buying "organic unsalted butter," make sure you buy it from a store with a high-volume turnover in organic dairy products.

I don't really qualify as a group, but lucky for the group you took! I've already checked WS prices against Amazon's. WS charges up to 33% more. For now, I just want to view the various models and sizes, before deciding on which ones to buy.

Thank you, both, for your quick answers. Looked up the adress and glad to see they're open Sundays. I'll be sure to give them a ring! Can't wait to get my hands on some decent cookware.

Was original looking for copper frying pans. When I learned about de Buyer Mineral "B" frying pans. I know Amazon.com sells them. Before buying any, I prefer seeing them, in person. Does anyone here know where, in the Vancouver area, they are sold?
