dara did leave after tony was done: but i think i big part of that is that she does have a small child at home. she totally does not have an air of "i am more important" at all. she is really great.

oh i was there!! i was the one standing on the stage with the dj's after bourdain spoke and was signing. he was so gracious and nice, it was lovely to meet him.

TDQ, that is a shame about La Grolla! every time i have been there i have had a great experience. i REALLY miss pane vino dolce, that was my favorite italian in the twin cities.

i am a big fan of the biscuits and gravy at the triple rock. it is only on the weekends for their brunch: but it is bountiful and delicious!

i totally agree with tanpopo: it is always tranquil even though full. plus: so delicious and clean. love it.

also: the heartland wine bar. the wine bar is really lovely, and less expensive than heartland itself. i have had GREAT service and excellent food there.

in downtown: this is what i would say:

112 eatery, you can totally walk to it in downtown.
origami is AMAZING sushi.
if you want authentic neopolitan pizza: pizza nea right over the washington ave bridge. great wine list as well.
if you can get over to eat street: quang, jasmine deli, taco moreles, and evergreen are fantastic choices!
