I called Vetri and they were super nice! They will definitely tailor the meal to my needs and to those of my husband's! Super excited.

Tx! This is our 10 yr anniversary, so the sky's the limit on price! I know he would love Vetri (if i can get a table), but it seemed to me it was a tasting menu and that I wouldn't be able to avoid pig's ear, eg. I guess I should just call and see! Do you think Lacroix would be too "stodgy"?

My anniversary with my husband is coming up at the end of August. I would like to surprise him with a nice reservation somewhere. He is a major foodie and has high standards. :) The only wrinkle is that I don't eat a lot of meat, so a prix fixe menu where I would "have" to order certain things won't work. And I don't want anywhere too casual in atmosphere. Tx in advance for suggestions!!!
