Best of the best of the best? Not sure such a creature exists. Peanut butter that has melted and dribbles on your hand everytime you take a bite of the toast. An apricot plucked from a tree. A prune plum fallen to the ground, incredibly juicy and sweet. The bite of warm waffle with just the right amounts of maple syrup and butter to waffle. Licking my fingers after eating some finger food and catching the few remaining grains of salt.Best moments, but don't think there will ever be The One Moment.
My current drink of choice:
Cawfee
I really wish I could:
eat my way through India
My favorite comfort food:
Grilled sourdough with [fill in the blank] and pickled things; kimchee, sauerkraut, takuan, sweet mix, or a big fat dill.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Don't exist any more, they've all closed down.
My most tattered cookbooks:
some photocopied pages from an Indian cookbook I forgot to write the name of down and an oddball collection of recipes from around the web either printed out, or quickly scribbled down in pen w/ paper.
