Any good places for seafood with oyster bar in the SF Valley?

Have friends coming to town that like to go out for oysters. any suggestions forplaces in the Valley?? I have not had a lot of luck with seafood since moving to the Valley.

Road tripping San Diego to Catalina

If you're looking for good mexican food in San Diego (there are lots of places), I suggest going straight to El Indio. A San Diego long time institution. The lines may be long, because the food is good. It is right of the 5 freeway north of Downtown. In Orange County try any one of the Taco Mesa Locations ( I think there are 3 or 4) fresh and made to order.
I believe both of these places have websites you could view to get info.

Mom's Birthday lunch in Pasadena

I am looking to take my mom for a b-day lunch this weekend in Pasadena. We are going to the Rose Bowl Flea Market then out to lunch. She is dieting and insists on eating healthy even on her B-day. I live in the SF Valley so I could use some suggestions?????

have you ttried El toro meats in Lake Forest? They have a great selection of meats.
GReat butcher. Try their carne asada----cook it up on your grill----take all the credit or the flavor.

We are looking to have a company holiday meal maybe in the burbank area North hollywood etc.

Hi there,

We just moved to Northridge from the O.C. Where are the best places to eat in the Valley. Especially for weeknight dining? On the weekends we will probably venture a little farther, but we need to know good places to go after work. Any good sushi in the Valley???
We have already eaten at Brent's----my husband loves the big deli sandwiches.
