Thanks for the report. It's good to hear you enjoyed it. It's one of only a handful of non-chain restos out this way so we like to frequent it. Also, at least two places have already failed in that location; I would hate for this one to have the same fate. |

Best Breakfast Ever - Your Favorites I'm never sure what is meant by "walking distance." Four blocks? A mile? Top of mind is Haute Dish. It's about a 10 minute walk according to Google maps. A little beyond that is The Bachelor Farmer (Sunday only). Both are worth the walk. Hell's Kitchen best meal is breakfast. Try the porridge. Try to ignore the kitsch. |

Then you don't know Andiamo. |

They are now serving wine and beer. |

Early early (or, I suppose, late late) breakfast spots in TC's on weekends. Sorry to hear Ideal Diner is out of business. It's been on my to do list for quite a while but I never made the effort to get there. |

Have you considered Kitchen in the Market? They do private classes too. |

The links to their Facebook and Twitter accounts are at the very bottom of the web page. The FB page lists address, phone number, hours, that they are opening April 15 and that their website is still under construction. I don't think it's all that unusual that the website isn't done. |

Minneapolis-St. Paul Dish of the Month April 2012: Hot dogs/Sausages. Jim, I think you mean the Valley Lounge in Eagan, not Valley View. |

It was Thursday March 7. |

I was there one day last week right around noon and there was no waiting. The space never did fill up. The service was impeccable. The cabbage soup was wonderful- creamy and flavorful- perfect for a snowy day. The sandwich special was cod with fish roe, blood oranges, grapefruit, kimchee, radish powder and I can't even remember what else. Too many elements on one sandwich. I'll stick with something simpler next time. |

No, they don't take reservations. |

You can call to arrange for a time. They are very flexible. |

Mixer for 200 ppl near Minneapolis convention center It would be helpful if you could define walking distance. 2 blocks? A mile? |

Fika is full table service. They made that change in November. |

U of M Meat Lab, $3.09 a lb It was one of the most tender, flavorful I've ever made. |

Quiet place for a working lunch in the St. Anthony/New Brighton/Roseville area. How large is your group? |

Date night within 15-20 minute drive of Como Park Colossal Cafe on Como. They have a special Valentine's Day menu through Saturday. We were there for NYE and enjoyed the special menu. This one is different and sounds even better. The service is consistently excellent. |

Kramarczuk's has linguica. I don't know if they have it every day but I've seen it there. See the link I posted above. |

Kid-friendly in Eagan/Mendota area? Buon Giorno is much more than a pasta bar. It's also a deli and Italian market. |
