How do I change my name
Still no response from my e-mail after one day. Is this how it is supposed to be?
Uploading photos
How do I upload a .GIF image? The upload Avatar always fails without a reason code.
Thanks.

Best Texas Wine Under $10
Why do you want a Texas wine? You will invariably get better value from South America or Australia at the moment.
Sushi in Allen
Went to Sushi Sapporo in Allen TX tonight. Exceeded my expectations in all respects. Try the rolls (OMG, Ahi-Tower, Monster). Service very friendly.
Best local-to-Texas beer
The most popular beer in Texas is Budweiser. What does that tell you?
Nick and Sams
Actually Craft is in dire need of new management. Two examples:
1) I made a reservation and when they called back for me to confirm it I called them to hear a message telling me to call back in normal office hours -- it was 4:30pm. When I ddi make contact (the next day) with a 'hostess' she was holding another conversation with someone next to the phone while I was was giving her the details of my reservation. With so many good restaurants in Dallas we don't need this.
2) This Saturday, they are supposed to be hosting a dinner for the national AIWF meetings. As of Monday they still had not posted a menu. The only one of the four selected restaurants not to have done so. One of the others was N&S -- it sounds, form your review, that that may be the place to go.
Dallas - Argentinian Restuarants
Just tried this at lunchtime. A real find. great empanadas (ordered additional to take home) and pizza topped with cheese and herbs.
Southern Indian in Dallas (actually Plano)
Someone asked about southern Indian food in Dallas recently but I can't find the thread, so I'll start a new one.
"Bomaby Masala & Sweets" (3829 Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano -- NE corner of Spring Creek and Coit) is a new Indian cafe and adjoining food store. The buffet is mainstream during the week ($5.99) but southern Indian on Sundays ($7.99). The owner is from southern India.
Steakhouse in Dallas
Don't go to the Bob's in Plano. Poor service and average food for inflated prices.
Need a good caterer- DFW
Doug Brown -- Google his impressive resume. Now he also has a place down at Southside on Lamar.
Best cookies in Dallas
Girl Scouts 'Samoa' cookies.
Problem is: What is a perfect substitute the other 51 weeks of the year?

Steak and mushroom pie -- Dallas
The British Food Store in Grapevine carries a line made in Florida. Sprouts has a steak and mushroom pie that is made specifically for them and much better IMHO.
Dallas Fish Market
If you haven't already, check out the high praise in this review by Dallas' toughest critic:

Meat Matters
Readers in Plano may want to check out a new gourmet food store that I just ran across in the SW corner of Spring Creek and Coit. It is called "Meat Matters" and has been open four weeks. As well as meat the store has a small but carefully chosen selection of items in each food category (sauces, fish, oils, pasta, cheese). They are clearly only half stocked at the moment but could turn out to be a real asset to the area.
Best Fine Dining in the DFW Area?
"Dallas' Only Daily" recently downgraded York St. However, you will find it hard to find anyone who agrees with them.
New Indian restaurant in Dallas
I want to endorse everything nitslu has said. This is possibly a new "best Indian in DFW" restaurant. The co-owner, Vijay, is just as helpful to new diners as nitlsu describes.
