I am looking to possibly buy some individually wrapped, decorated sugar cookies for favors for my wedding next month. Does anyone have a bakery that they have used for this before and would recommend? The wedding is downtown at the Seaport so anywhere not too far from the city is great.

We are traveling to San Juan next month and the night we arrive will be my BF's birthday. Is there a restaurant nearby that overlooks the water and has a beachy feel? If not, where else is recommended? We like good food that is not overly fancy and would prefer a relaxed over a stuffy environment. We will be traveling to the Isabela area later in the week so recommendations in that area are appreciated as well!

Help! I live in Boston and need to plan a shower/bachelorette evening for my sister who lives in NY. She lives in Queens but I would prefer to do something in the city. The problem is, I don't live there and am totally at a loss about where to go. I want to plan a good dinner, not super fancy or expensive but someplace fun with good food, where we can "shower" her with gifts. There will be about 12-15 of us so we won't need a private room or anything. From there I would like to take her out to some bars around the city. She is more into local hole-in-walls over nightclubs but I am open to suggestions!

It is sort of a strange early dinner time and we don't want something too fancy since we will be heading straight to the game. We do want a place with good food but it needs to be a little more casual. Thoughts?

I need to travel this Thanksgiving and will be preparing the food I am bringing on Tuesday. I can bake/prepare it at the host's house but want to have it ready to go when I arrive Thursday morning. Does anyone have a tried and true recipe for a Dutch Apple pie? I was asked to bring one somewhere and I am not coming up with much!

We went to Blackfish for dinner last night and loved it! Everything seemed really fresh and we enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. My only complaint would be with timing. Our entrees came out immediately after we had put down our salad forks and I was hoping for a few minutes to digest. Other than that though, everything was great!

Thanks. We have never been to Blackfish but will check it out online. We probably won't venture into PTown for this trip but could possible head the other way towards Chatham. It seems like there might be more going on in that direction.

I am heading out to Eastham tonight for the weekend and wondering what is open at this time of the year. We love Mac's, but I am fairly sure that is closed. We also love the boulangerie. What is open in the area for breakfast/lunch/dinner? We had a terrible time finding somewhere to stay this weekend and are hoping for more success with restaurants!

I had the vegetable bahn mi for lunch today and was very happy with it. I would love to recreate it at home with the eggplant and the fried tofu....yummmmmm

I was very disappointed in the event. The lines were so long and there were not many options. We waited in the grilled cheese line for awhile before giving up on it all and heading to Santarpios.

So we are debating a drive out to Wellfleet for oyster fest this week but, having never been before, don't know what to expect. Is there more to do there than just eat oysters? Is it worth the drive from Boston? I love Wellfleet but don't particularly love oysters!

I walked through Allston yesterday and noticed that a place called Refuge Cafe is preparing to open in the old Herrell's space. It looks like they will have sandwiches and breakfast foods as well as "comfort food favorites." They have done some sprucing up on the outside of the building at least!

We went to Toro for the first time last night and loved it. It seemed like a good amount of food for a RW and the menu was pretty similar to the usual menu.We left stuffed and happy.
