coconut milk substituted with regular milk

I made it today without coconut milk and really it's just not as sweet so I added some sugar along with it. I think that it's still good but not as good as the coconut milk flavor.

Miso Soup with Napa Cabbage and Udon

I love napa cabbage and am constantly looking for recipes in which I can use it. I put it in my ramen quite often because ramen is a bit boring without any veggies or meat. I will definitely be giving this a try. (A silly typo I saw was in the instructions #2 shimmering instead of simmering ha ha. I'll be watching it for it to be shimmering)

The 10 Best Burger Joints in Los Angeles

I went to Father's Office when I was in LA for a visit to my mom's cousin's place and it was amazing! I got the Office burger and also the thin fries and sweet potato fries. My favorite part was the Julian Hard Cider that I got and the aioli sauce was delicious. First time I ever tried that type of sauce and I loved it! I love garlic! Beware the aioli sauce if you on the other hand are not a fan of garlic. Definitely was a great place to try if you are in the LA area! It was SUPER busy too.

Is It Unprofessional for a Chef to Criticize a Food Critic?

I don't think that is unprofessional for a chef to respond to a food critic it is only natural to want to stick up for what they are passionate about and what they make a living on. The unprofessional thing is getting mean spirited over it and having no filter. I can see how it can be hard to not take critiques too personally cause I can do that myself but also agree with other commenters that it should be taken as a learning experience.

Pasta with Caramelized Tomatoes and Sausage

Was looking for something simple, not too many ingredients, but still delicious -- definitely fills my criteria! The tidbits of information in the recipe was also quite helpful. And from a budding photographer, not bad job on the photo either! We'll definitely make this again.

Asian-Marinated Baked Chicken

Just made this for my mom, my bro, his gf, and my bf. It was a big hit! I think I probably used more ginger than what was called for but it gave it a good zing. Also used regular brown sugar instead of "dark" brown sugar. I marinated it the full 24 hours. I'm so glad I gave this a try!
