Yeah I am allergic to lavender so I'm not sure if that is the best place for me to go. The farm does look cool though.
The place we are staying is right down the road from Oprah's place :) If my niece can't make it as flower girl, I guess I know where to get a stand in!!!!
We are really just looking for somewhere close that would be a really fun time for our wedding party and families.
Our wedding planner works with Longhi's for the catering. We have never had their food and were a bit apprehensive but have been assured by the planner that they are good. Does anyone know about them?? We love Asian fusion cuisine and are kind of going with that as our dinner for the wedding. For dessert we were thinking a dessert bar, we aren't totally into cake.
If anybody has a recommendation on where to get a ridiculously cool cake we would love to here where!!!
As you can tell we like to think outside the box in terms of not playing it by the "rules" of what we "should" do at a wedding. We really just love to have fun!!! For example we are having a asian food truck called the box on wheels cater our wedding shower which should be awesome!!!
My fiance and I are beyond blessed. I couldn't ask for better family and friends to share in this experience. This is going to be amazing!!!

Also, as far as catering at the house, my mom is against it. Our planner said that we should dine out, so the wedding day is special. So it doesn't seem as if we are repeating ourselves. I tend to disagree but I better just keep mom happy!! This is why I am asking for any recommendations any of you have.

Our guests are all staying with us at the estate for a week of livin the good life!!! Some other guests are also in the upcountry area.

Yeah that place sounded cool but by the looks of the website its only a lunch spot and they aren't open on Saturday....

So I am marrying the love of my life on October 7, 2012 at an estate in Kula. We need a place for an awesome rehearsal dinner preferably somewhere close on Saturday October 6 for probably 20-30 people.
We are a young fun loving couple that likes to have a good time. A passed family style dinner or a place with lawn games or something out of the ordinary would be cool. But really anywhere with good food and good drinks with a nice atmosphere would be perfect for the occasion. Any suggesgestions are greatly appreciated and Thank you in advance!!
