Skin tastes great when it's thoughtfully prepared. Growing up, mom baked the hell out of fish and it would come out with gooey nasty skin that I hated. As an adult, with a few years of restaurant experience, I love the stuff and agree gentle guidance is in order. It's good fat, good minerals and despite what some of the comments suggest — you can't get the benefit of some vitamins and minerals by popping a pill. Vitamins need fat to be properly absorbed and they need to be consumed before they rapidly break down — an issue compounded by manufacturing and merchandising.
Eat real food or don't, but don't make the mistake of thinking a pill will make up the difference.
