You hit the nail on the head, this is the exact situation I am talking about. On Long Island it is not easy to find restaurants that serve craft beer, in NYC it is easier.

Good question, I would be willing to pay them the difference between what I paid to acquire the beer and what they charged for a beer there. So , if they charge $6 a beer and I paid $3 for it at the beer distributor , I would pay them $3. They would still make money, probably not as much though as if they sold me the beer they already have.
Yes, they would make less money, but if I dont come to the restaurant at all they make no money.

Same reason as with wine where they let you bring in your own wine and charge you a corkage fee. if you bring your own beer, they charge a corkage fee and make some money. Plus you are there eating which they make money off of also.

La Fonda. Maro Shrimp House , La Perla. Gordo Lele for hole in the wall tacos.
New Resturants in Cabo
La Fonda is excellent. Try Maro Shrimp House also, great local good, great prices and very friendly service. Say hello to Maro and also try the bulldog drink.

The upselling from the waiters is out of control and undesirable. They offer you chips and guacomole when you 1st get there, but dont tell you the cost. As my wife was making her entree order, they tried upselling her to something else, how tacky. I understand the suggestive selling for appetizers, drinks and desserts, but this place is out of control. Food is OK, nothing special at all. My local mexican place is much better then this and the chips and salsa is free !!

I have been calling there for a week, no answer and no answering machine. Also, checked their web site today, it is down. Is this place still open? Maybe they are on vacation ? But these two circumstances are a bit odd.

Places to Eat in Cabo?
Try the Office on Medano Beach. Really good food, fun atmosphere and nothing beats sitting on the beach with feet in sand looking out to the water. My wife and I ate there 3 times on our vacation we liked it so much. Try the flank steak nachos.

lets see , off the top of my head, appetizers were some salads , calamari, baked clams, shrimp cocktail , a shrimp dish on a potato skin and spinach and some other things I cant remember.
For dinner ,steaks , chops, some seafood, some pasta.
Dessert , NY cheesecake , sherberts , an brownie with ice cream.
More stuff then I can remember.
it not a traditional steakhouse per se , but alot of steak house items.

This is the place that just opened in the same location that was the Cinnamon Club, The Wreck , etc. Unlike those places, this one looks like it could stick.
I always liked the inside of the place when it was the other places, very roomy.
Food was really good, I had a great Kurobata pork chop, I loved it. Everything else my wife and I had was very good. service good also.
Try this place out.
Glad this place is good, it is close to my house and I like the location.

Trattoria Diane is great food and I love the atmosphere. The three berry pie is very good !
Try On 3 in Glen Head also, I love that place too. Scallops appetizer and the bananas foster praline parfait or two of the best appetizers and dessserts I have ever had. Service is great there also , spot on and one of the waiters there is outstanding.

La Pace is awesome , I love it there.
Also , you may want to consider Barneys , very good food and romantic atmosphere , ask to be put in the dining room where the fireplace is.
