OK, you guys officially rock. This is the first time I have ever posted anything on this site and I am awash with gratitude at all your fab suggestions... I will let you know what I cook and how it goes - and I will store the other suggestions for the next time she's in town. Man, is that girl in for some awesome dinner party food!!!!

Too cold for an ENTIRE meal of sushi... when its windy and blustery and cold outside I want something warm in my belly at some stage during the meal!

Salmon is out as I did Delia Smith pesto/parmesan baked version last time my friend was in town. It will have to be white fish of some sort I guess. Love the look of that topping though!
Fish eating vegetarian dinner party menu?!?
We have a friend who comes to town every few months and we always host a dinner with mutual friends for her. She's a fish eating vegetarian (no shellfish or chicken but eats dairy and eggs) and I am running out of recipe ideas! So far I have made S&P Squid, Fish Pie, Baked Salmon, Grilled John Dory and mixed seafood Paella (not really a success without the shellfish might I add). Any suggestions?!?
