dark chocolate and hot chocolate (not necessarily at the same time); club sandwich, french fries and a diet coke in whatever hotel I'm staying in after a long haul flight

Always changing, but if I had to choose right now, they would be (in no particular order): Yew (Four Seasons in Vancouver); Blue Water Cafe in Vancouver (for the raw bar); Octopus Garden in Vancouver (for the exquisite sushi and Chef Sada's joviality); Mandala Tea Room in Scottsdale (for gorgeous, clean, simple vegan food); Rinconcito Salvadorean in Vancouver (for comfort in the form of a soft tortilla).
