Caffrey's in Montreal?
Anyone know of a pub or bar in Montreal that serves Caffrey's Irish Ale on tap? Visiting from the USA where we can no longer get Caffrey's.

It's located at 200 Main Street. It's right on the corner of Main Street and Kentlands Blvd. If you were coming up Kentland Blvd. from Great Seneca, you would pass Whole Foods and the next traffic circle is Main Street - it's on the left corner. Hope that helps!

Yes, they have a full menu of lots of Japanese favorites, but really authentic. Their bento boxes and udon and soba noodles are especially good. I keep going back and trying more of their things and everything is great. Can't rave enough about it. Really hoping they make it and it stays open - it's kind of hidden on a corner in the Kentlands so the foot traffic isn't great.

Just an FYI:
An excellent and very authentic Japanese restaurant has opened in the Kentlands in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County called Itoyanagi. The very friendly owners are from Japan and the quality of the food is not only authentic (if you have been to or are from Japan you will notice the difference) and they have "Crazy Hour" at lunch and "Happy Hour" in the evenings where nigiri is $1 per piece. Check it out - you won't be disappointed.

Anything in DC from either of these countries? I've traveled to both in the last 2 years but don't have any specific recollection of the food.
Duck?
Peking Gourmet in Falls Church makes really authentic, fantastic Peking Duck. Just went a few weeks ago. I have eaten Peking Duck in Beijing and this was as good if not better. Plus, the interior completely reminded us of being in China. All in all a great place. But, make a reservation! The line is really long if you don't have one.
L'auberge Chez Francois or Obelisk
Chez Francois is excellent - the food is 100% top notch. But, it is very very expensive. With a good bottle of wine and a 5 course meal, we have never gotten out of there for less than $300 for 2 people. Even without a good bottle of wine, you are still lookng at $200. So if price is an issue for you, this isn't your best bet.

I also like Degrees at the Ritz in Georgetown. The hotel has a great lobby with a huge fireplace that is excellent when it's cold outside.

I have eaten at Aida Bistro. Excellent food and wine, but the location is a small strip mall.

Does anyone know of a bar or restaurant in DC that serves New Zealand Steinlager beer?
Nepalese food In Washington DC?
Looking for a restaurant that serves traditional Nepalese food in the DC area. I heard that these was a place called Mt. Everest, but is now closed. The only other place I have heard of is Himalayan House, which is in Baltimore and is take-out.
