Best sandwich in boston?

nope -- just making a sandwich-themed vacation of boston and NYC.

Best sandwich outside of Manhattan?

I'm coming to town for a long weekend and am looking for a couple great sandwich places. I know this is a huge question for this city, so it might help guide you to think about "classic" NYC spots (my friend has never been there, and I haven't been in 10 years).

It could be a deli, or something more unique, but quintessential New York is what we're looking for. Any suggestions?

Best sandwich in boston?

I'm headed out for a long weekend, and need some places to go where a guy can get a really good sandwich. It's gotta be in the city, since I won't have a car.

It can be something simple like a deli, or something unusual and interesting, or whatever -- quality is all that matters to me. For reference, my favorites are Paseo in Seattle, Parisi in Denver, Mr. Beef in Chicago, places like that.

Any recommendations?

Best Sandwich in Portland?

Could I please get some help? I'll be in town for a couple days next week, and am a sandwich junkie. Hot or cold, quirky or traditional, just as long as the quality is high and it isn't a chain. For those familiar with Seattle, I'm thinking Paseo and Salumi. Anything like that in Portland?

Best "local" places in St. Louis?

downtown, near the arch. i'd prefer something st. louis style, if you know of any.

Best "local" places in St. Louis?

I'm heading to St. Loo for a long weekend, am looking for cool little unique spots to eat. Maybe one place that's pretty nice, but mostly the sort of neighborhood spots that locals go to hang out, or even the name of a neighborhood to hang out in.

I've heard about Iron Barley, Schlafly's, and Imo's pizza. Are these good recommendations? What are some others? Are there any unique local foods besides St. Louis style pizza and the St. Paul sandwich?

Deli sandwich in Seattle?

Just moved here and found a couple good hot sandwich places (Tat's, Paseo) and I love Salumi but it's only open a few hours a week. Any other good deli sammies in Seattle? Thanks!

Best sandwich in Portland, OR?

I'm going to be there this weekend and am looking for a good sammie. Deli, sub, hot, cold, fancy, simple, whatever. I favor quality over form. Thanks for the help!
