Best Burger Near Times Square?

Sorry, not Ted Gidley. I usually park around 38th, so Keen's sounds like a good fit, before we walk over to the Nokia Theatre. Thanks again everyone for your recs.

Look at my handle and figure out who is playing in the area for a hint.
Thanks for the tips all.

Best Burger Near Times Square?

I've been perusing the Top 10 Burger lists out there and none of the establishments listed seem to be near Times Square (probably for good reason). Well that's where I'm headed tomorrow night and looking for a good burger. We won't have time to shuffle downtown. Preferably a pub atmosphere but not a requirement. Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Big Ed's Danbury

Anyone know what's up with Big Ed's hot dog stand in Danbury? They never re-opened after winter vacation, unless they changed location.

I am familiar with Ed's history and the tragedy last year with his daughter, but my hot dog buddies and I are stumped on this one.

What's the deal with Duchess in Connecticut?

There are still two in Danbury, but they always look deserted. The one on Rt. 25 in Monroe is always busy. The Ridgefield branch came and went too.

At least they still have a web site:

German food in New England?

Heidelberg is awesome. I'm 1/2 German and it's the closest thing to Grandma's cooking since the old Maxl's in White Plains, NY many years ago.

If the weather is nice like now, you can sit outside, but the atmosphere inside is good too (although it can get loud when full). Great beer selection. Only downside is it is a little pricey, so we don't go as often as I'd like.
