Pollo A La Brasa is the best. Enjoy El Pollo Loco too but clearly not as good.

Help Please! A week in LA to dine!

Would go Wolfgangs before cut for vibe. Perfer Mastroes though.
Dan Tanas has great steak and peppers and the dark meat chicken beckerman is fantastic. Vibe it great.
Going to Bestia next week. Here it is fantastic. Use Reserve.com to get a reservation otherwise very difficult.
Chi Spacca is the best place in town IMO.

Food is very good but atmosphere is sterile and very expensive.

Not: Polo Lounge, Crustacean, La Dolce or Muso.
Dan Tanas is a ton of fun if you sit if the front room. If not dont go.
Spago is classic. See if you can get the bar table adjacent to the patio. There you can get the main menu but also a more casual and reasonable menu including the classic pizzza.
Chi Spacca is my favorite for meat and based upon what I have been told much better than Animal
Have not been in a long time but if the weather is nice outside at Chateau is great.
Also really like Sotto.
Mastroes can be fun. Make sure you sit on the second floor or upstairs in the club.
If you go a bit west The Brentwood is fun comfort food and drinks. Great fried chicken.
AOC is another great choice. Try for the patio.

Have fun.

Brunch for 12 people in WeHo, Beverly Hills, West LA area?

Mayenders be good, but for what its worth,in BH all the top bar tenders quit and were quite vocal that ownership sucks. My experience is no argument with that. Westwood may be ok though.

Defunct Restaurants ......are these all long gone ?

I know there is a Pioneer on Olympic near Fairfax. Unfortunately, there is still a Jerry's in Marina Del Rey I think.

Mother daughter lunch/breakfast/tea place needed

It is a lovely patio, but way over priced and ownership's is disgusting and should not be supported.

Mother daughter lunch/breakfast/tea place needed

Boulevard in the Beverly Wilshire is a good choice.

If the weather is nice, sit outside at Bar Bachon at the Montage.

Non-ethnic, (ok maybe Italian is ok) not further than 10 miles East or West from Beverly Hilton

You could do Sotto. Share a pizza and split a couple of pastas. Good call.

Thanks. It worked. Reserve looks interesting. Hope more restaurants join. The ones it does have are pretty good.

Spago is doable if you do the bar menu. You can also get the pizza (including, upon request the smoked salmon classic). There are two four top tables that are considered in the bar, but are actually adjacent to the patio and main dining room. If you can get one of those tables, its one of the best spots in the house.

Call Spago and see if you can get a table in the bar section. Ask for a four top next to the patio. If they take you you can order pizza and other small plates on the bar menu and have a unique experience at your $30 price point.

Delicious Italian, American, Farm-To-Table Recommendations? Help

Two of us did Chi Spacca recently. We had

Affettati Misti
Butter Lettuces
Facaccia
Tomahawk Pork Chop

It was a lot of food but doable and great!

I have never had the chicken, but it looks wonderful and the meal would certainly be lighter with that instead of the Pork Chop.

Capo would be another good choice.

Good choice, the fried chicken sandwich is good as is the french dip. Frida down the street is ok for Mexican (used to be better but still ok and lively).

I tried and there are no times available before 5 for a party of 2 until March, so I cant imagine a party of 8 is going to have much luck.
