We are looking for $25-50 dollar range, not including alcohol. There will be 10 people.
Just moved to Santa Fe, had some questions about the chow basics (coffee, pizza...)
You must go and eat at the Chocolate Maven, the best food around. Its in a warehouse area, but don't let that fool you!.Weekends they don't open til 9 am I think. You will enjoy your meals and go back for more.

The Frontier is the best, they make their own flour tortillas, and they are served hot and scrumptious. When can I go again????

Food in Las Cruces, NM (long)
By far, the best and most inexpensive mexican food is at Ranchway. Their mexican combination plate is excellent, and wonderful green chile burritos. Yummy!!!
Wine from Southern New Mexico
Totally impressed with the wine from Deming, New Mexico. St. Clair Winery is wonderful. Join their wine club, as well. Stopping in for a sampling of wine at the wine tasting room is a fun time. I love the Malvasia, a white wine and the Niebiolo, a red wine. Have you made it there yet?
Food in Las Cruces, NM (long)
Have you tried the St. Claire Bistro on Avenida de Mesilla in the Las Cruces/Mesilla area? Awesome food, prepared with the wines from the St. Claire Winery in Deming (AKA New Mexico Wines). Not too pricey, and you've got to have a wine flight and then for dessert, the bread pudding. Best around!
Breakfast in Santa Fe / and dessert
Just wondering where is a good spot for breakfast, not necessarily fancy, just great food? Also, where can you get good dessert, later in the evening? I know of Atomic Grill, but need other suggestions. Will be there the first week of October.
