Food related Souvenir

Hey guys,

Parent's are in Vancouver right now and asking me if I would like them to bring back something as a Souvenir...Anyone here have an idea of what they could bring back that I can't really get here in Ottawa/Montreal? Food/Cooking related? I have no clue...

I love cooking (Asian and Indian) meals...Any cool stuff they could bring back?

Thanks!

3 days in NOLA in October (seeking advice resto and seafood fest)

Interesting, Ill definitely consider Restaurant R'evolution.

We are 4 guys so we are not looking for any very fancy restaurant but just good local food. I noticed Galatoires has high reviews and looks amazing but I am not carrying a suite for this trip.

What about crawfish? KJean? is it too late in the season to get them?

Yes, its my first time in NOLA.

I guess we can grab oysters at the festival and skip Acme.

We are considering Oktoberfest for later at night.

About K-Paul's, you mentioned its pricey, do you have a alternative ? Mr.B's?

Hi all,

Visiting NOLA in October with 3 of my friends. I noticed that the weekend we are in town, the seafood festival and Oktoberfest is on. Supper: Acme Oyster House
Late Bar/Pub: Festival

Sunday:

Lunch: Po Boy's (Johnny's or ?)
Supper: K-Paul's Cajun
Bar/Pub: Festival

Monday:

Lunch: Cochon Butcher
Supper: Casamentos

Tuesday:

Lunch: Willis Mae's

Guys, feel free to comment on my list.

Cheers!
